AmeriCorps Academic Success Vista
This VISTA position will focus on improving academic programming and will also improve our social media presence and systems of communication.
Volunteer Opportunties
Mentor
Mentors provide support to their mentees, as well as ongoing support to graduates in order to ensure their continued educational, personal, and professional success.
Advertising Assistant
Specific duties include the creation of print advertisements, web based marketing (including website), social media marketing and other marketing materials. Must have knowledge of marketing.
Community Service
Assisting with or designing a community service event.
Academic Tutor
We are seeking volunteers to help prep our students for the HiSET test. Volunteers will work with student's one on one, or in small groups, 3-5 hrs a week.
Reading and writing tutors are also needed.
Administrative Assistant
Volunteer will assist with clerical duties, such as answering phones, filing, data input.
Construction Service Volunteer
Assist with construction activities.
